Penn State Behrend Leadership Scholarship Application

The Division of Student Affairs awards several leadership scholarships to members of first year class. The deadline for Fall 2015 new students is March 1, 2015. Criteria for awards are based on applicants demonstrating a strong commitment to leadership in their high schools or pre-college experiences as evidenced by their co-curricular activities as well as excellent potential for engaging in leadership positions at Penn State Behrend. Leadership Scholarship awards for 2015-16 average $1,000 to $1,500. Explain how the leadership skills you have developed through your high school experiences have prepared you to positively impact the Penn State Behrend community. What specific skills have you developed as a result of your pre-college experiences? In what ways do you intend to improve your leadership skills as student at Penn State Behrend? As a student leader at Penn State Behrend, how do you think you will contribute to improving the campus environment for other students?
